Board Certified orthodontist, Dr. Adam Whiteley, has a passion for making others smile! This passion has guided his professional career starting at East Carolina University where he obtained both his undergraduate and doctorate degrees – graduating with honors. As part of the inaugural class at ECU, he was heavily involved in community service and was chosen as a member of the Sevire Society, which recognizes outstanding community service contributions. Additionally, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which recognizes academic achievements. While in dental school, he met his wife, Kelly, another member of his class, as they bonded over their classwork and some banter about college football rivalries. (Go Pirates!)

After dental school, he completed his orthodontic training at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he earned his Master’s Degree. While in residency, his research was published in three academic journals, helping to further the knowledge in the dental profession.

Outside of his time with patients, Dr. Whiteley and his wife have two pets, a dog and a cat. Together, they enjoy cooking, travelling, trying new foods, and hiking. Dr. Whiteley is an avid sports fan – rooting for the ECU Pirates, Carolina Panthers, Las Vegas Golden Knights, and of course the Mountaineers! He enjoys connecting with his patients and their families during their appointments and looks forward to giving every patient a beautiful smile!”

Dr. Taneja grew up in India and moved to the States to attend dental school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In the course of her dental education, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society and was presented with the American Association of Orthodontists award for her keen interest in the orofacial complex. She was also the recipient of the American College of Dentists Award for her professional technical ability as a dental student and the Delta Dental Student Leadership Award for her demonstrated desire to serve the community. After earning her DMD, she stayed on at UAB for her orthodontic training. She conducted research on methods to close missing tooth spaces to obtain a Master of Science degree. Dr. Taneja is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and she is Board Certified by the ABO.

Connecting with her patients chairside is her favorite part of being an orthodontist, and she loves helping people achieve the confident smiles they deserve.

She enjoys dad jokes, traveling, and long walks with her two doodles, Turbo and Willow; and will never refuse a cup of good coffee.
