Board Certified orthodontist, Dr. Adam Whiteley, has a passion for making others smile! This passion has guided his professional career starting at East Carolina University where he obtained both his undergraduate and doctorate degrees – graduating with honors. As part of the inaugural class at ECU, he was heavily involved in community service and was chosen as a member of the Sevire Society, which recognizes outstanding community service contributions. Additionally, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which recognizes academic achievements. While in dental school, he met his wife, Kelly, another member of his class, as they bonded over their classwork and some banter about college football rivalries. (Go Pirates!)

After dental school, he completed his orthodontic training at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he earned his Master’s Degree. While in residency, his research was published in three academic journals, helping to further the knowledge in the dental profession.

Outside of his time with patients, Dr. Whiteley and his wife have two pets, a dog and a cat. Together, they enjoy cooking, travelling, trying new foods, and hiking. Dr. Whiteley is an avid sports fan – rooting for the ECU Pirates, Carolina Panthers, Las Vegas Golden Knights, and of course the Mountaineers! He enjoys connecting with his patients and their families during their appointments and looks forward to giving every patient a beautiful smile!”
